Birth is an intensely powerful, transformative moment in a woman’s life, yet for so many, it can be an experience shaped by fear, pressure, and feeling unheard. I became a doula because I believe that every woman deserves to feel empowered, educated, and truly supported during the journey of bringing life into the world, regardless of how her birth plays out.
I began my journey into birth work in the most intimate way. My first pregnancy was filled with fear, anxiety, and medical intervention. At 23 weeks I had an unthinkable decision to make — to let my son go because of serious foetal abnormalities. Delivering him stillborn was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced, but in that heartbreak, something came alive in me. He became my best teacher, and I went on to make sure no woman feels confused, powerless, or alone in her birth journey.
For over a decade now, I have devoted my life to supporting the women that reside in Sydney, their partners and the precious miracles they are birthing. With my training in various modalities including hypnobirthing, transformational coaching and breathwork, I help mothers navigate their birth in a way that honours their choices, their body and their intuition. Be it in preparation for a positive induction, as an advocate for a mother’s wishes in a medical environment, or as the person who holds space in those raw, vulnerable moments, I’m there to remind her: she is capable, she is strong, and this is her birth.
My work isn’t only about birth — it’s about transformation, confidence, and claiming power. It’s about making sure women leave their experience feeling not just like a mother, but like a warrior who stepped into her power.
This is why I do what I do.
Because every woman deserves support, advocacy and a birth story she can own with pride.
