I’m a wife, mum of five, doula and photographer, and the heart behind Golden Hour in Perth, Western Australia.
My journey into motherhood began at 18, and over the years I’ve experienced many different paths into birth and motherhood myself. Those experiences have taught me how important it is for a woman to feel safe, respected and genuinely cared for throughout such a life-changing season.
My why is simple: I want every woman to feel cared for, encouraged and truly held as she finds her way into motherhood.
I believe birth is deeply personal, and every woman deserves to feel supported without judgement. I’m especially passionate about natural, low-intervention and holistic approaches, and love supporting women preparing for homebirth, birth centre and hospital births. My approach is gentle and non-judgemental – I’m here to listen, encourage and provide calm, practical and compassionate support, whatever path your birth takes.
My mission is to walk alongside women through pregnancy, birth and early motherhood, creating a space where you can ask questions, explore your options, trust yourself and feel nurtured throughout the journey. I’m not there to tell you how your birth should unfold – your birth, your way; my support.
My Christian faith is an important part of who I am, and it naturally shapes the way I approach pregnancy, birth and motherhood. I’m passionate about holistic care and supporting women who desire a calm, natural and deeply connected experience. Where welcomed, I’m also happy to incorporate prayer and faith into your journey.
Alongside doula work, I’m a photographer, allowing me to combine two things I deeply love, supporting mothers and preserving their stories. From the anticipation of pregnancy to the strength of birth and those fleeting newborn days, I want to capture the moments you’ll treasure for years to come.
