Hi, hello and welcome.
I’m Niamh Garland – the Barefoot Birth Keeper and I am a student Doula at the Doula Training Academy.
This reminds me of the Tinder App. Reading my bio to see if I’m the perfect match.
So, I guess this is my little bio. I am a food lover, a crazy dancer, a beach bum, a yogi, a closet comedian, a nomad, a movie enthusiast and a cuddler.
One of my crowning glories is my beautiful, crazy, independent, adventurous (I’m totally not biased) 16-month-old, Maya. Which means the illusion of self, as well as to treasure oneself. I feel that this is the total embodiment of my life mission. Loving who you are and understanding that you are connected to everything.
I believe knowledge is power, I aim to provide you, my beautiful Mumma, with up-to-date evidence-based information, there is nothing more powerful than a well-informed mama.
So, whether you choose a vaginal, home, hospital, birth centre or caesarean birth I will be there for you and support you through this Rite of Passage, from Maiden to Mother.
I believe every woman has within them an inner goddess and creatress and it’s my job to help you connect to it.
Women are the cosmic vessel, the gate keepers of the soul realm….
Before, during and after labour we will work together to prepare you and your partner spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally. Creating a fearless, safe, non-judgemental and sacred birthing experience. I will ensure that you feel listened to and advocated for, to give you the space to unleash your innate birthing superpowers.
It’s so important to note that we are a birth team and we are all going to work together to support you during this special period!
Your only job right now is to listen, to allow yourself to be held, to feel at ease, to know that you are safe and feel the love that exists within us all.
You are being re-born into a mother and I am so privileged to share this journey with you.
All the love,
Niamh Garland- The Barefoot Birth Keeper
If you swiped right and would like to catch up for a coffee or smoothie to discuss your birthing options, I would love to hear from you.
Niamh Garland- The Barefoot Birth Keeper.
