FirstAidPro is a Registered Training Organisation RTO (40407) specialising in First Aid Training nationally.

About the Provide First Aid Course
● HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
● HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
● HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
Also includes using a Defibrillator (AED), Asthma, and EpiPen Training.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a First Aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers
who may be required to provide a First Aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
The course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply immediate or emergency care of an injured or sick casualty,
basic life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders or bystanders until more advanced medical help
arrives.
This Nationally Recognised Course satisfies 3 Units of Competency from the new HLT Health Training Package.
Provide First Aid Course Content:
● Management of conscious or unconscious patients
● Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on adults, children and babies
● External bleeding – trauma and shock
● Respiratory emergencies
● Cardiac emergencies
● Fractures, dislocations and soft tissue injuries
● Head neck and spinal injuries
● Diabetes
● Anaphylaxis
● Seizures / convulsions
● Envenomation, poisoning bites and stings
● Burns
● Hypothermia
● Heat Stroke
● Crush Injuries
● Following relevant procedures for recording first aid
● Detail the victims’ condition and the techniques applied
● Calling Emergency Services
Please note: All course participants must undertake a practical demonstration of CPR on the floor with a manikin for 2 minutes.

PARKING:
There is plenty of street parking along Whatley Crescent and Seventh Avenue (just check signs for clearways) as well as at the Maylands train station directly across the road from Wellness on Whatley. Please DO NOT PARK in the small carpark behind the church looking building on the corner of Whatley Crescent and Seventh Avenue as this is a private business (lawyers) and they get very upset when our clients park there.
You will also need to provide your Unique Student Identifier (USI) so that proof of your training can be recorded. If you have undertaken any vocational education and training (VET) since 2015, you may already have a USI.
