Platinum Level Doula Training
The Doula Training Academy is a platinum level training organisation for doulas across Australia and overseas, which offers you a balanced evidence-based comprehensive training course, while also incorporating the holistic aspects of being a doula. This training will provide you with everything you need to know to be a doula and confidently support women and their partners through pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond.

What Should I Expect?
With the limited time we have during your 14-day face-to-face intensive training, we will do our best to cover many of the modules listed, while also including reputable professional speakers highly experienced in their area of expertise to provide you with additional knowledge.
As part of the face-to-face training package, you will also be given access to the online training platform so you can go back and refresh what we shared, plus continue to go through each of the modules that were not discussed, particularly the postpartum doula components. This is incredible value for both face-to-face doula training and the online course as an added bonus.
The 7-day face-to-face intensive training provides you with the knowledge, tools and techniques so you can start taking on doula clients, but then continue to work your way through the rest of the online modules to enhance your knowledge and postpartum skills.
This training will be incredibly comprehensive including hands-on components, and what we don’t cover in this training will be attained from the online modules.
The training will include demonstrations of complementary therapies and then practising massage, acupressure, tapping, meditation, hypnosis and positioning techniques on each other, but also on two **pregnant women who will attend the specific training day for practice of those techniques (**Perth 14-day training only).
This is where your learning really starts – with hands on demonstrations plus our experience and knowledge in ensuring that you are performing these skill sets safely and effectively not only for your client, but for yourself as well.
This will be an exciting, thriving and heart-centred career for the right women, while also providing an ongoing learning hub and village of support for those who train at the Doula Training Academy.

The 14-day Intensive Training is our highly sought after signature training option. We offer this training course two times a year in Perth, Western Australia. This is definitely the doula training you want to strive to attend.
In 2026, we will also be offering our 7-day intensive training in Brisbane, Adelaide, Wellington NZ and Bunbury WA.
We are open to offering training in other areas, but we do need a minimum of 6 participants to proceed.
These courses book out very quickly as we only take a maximum of 10 people for each course so that you receive more personal, individualised training.
