My Name is Emily Wagner, and I am a Birth Doula.
For years I worked with young children and their families and hold a Diploma in early childhood. After becoming a mother, to Matilda (2) and Billy (8 Months) myself I felt as though I had been rebirthed into a new version of myself wanting to learn more about pregnancy and birth. During my second pregnancy I did a lot of research and preparation, I learnt so many techniques and educated myself as much as I could before Billy was born.
I feel as though continuity of care and education isn’t made as available as it should be to pregnant, birthing and postpartum women. I have experienced both a negative and positive birth myself and want every woman to have access and to learn to tools and techniques to have their own positive births.
I am always thriving to better my knowledge with the most up to date information and research.
