Jessica Robertson - Student Doula

Supporting, nurturing and empowering you on your transition to parenthood.

I’m a mother to a beautiful son, wife to a supportive husband, IVF warrior and I am passionate about all things pregnancy, birth and beyond.

We live on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland however I have strong ties to New Zealand, my other home. I am a coffee lover, a chocolate addict, an outdoors enthusiast, and I have a huge soft spot for dogs. I love to chat, I find it easy to understand and empathise with people, validate them, and make them feel seen and heard.

After the birth of my son, my eyes were opened to see how much support we need as women, as we go through one of life’s biggest transitions into motherhood. I noticed the lack of continuity of care, the lack of empowerment during birth discussed in friendship groups and societies expectations to bounce back.

In addition to postpartum support, I also have a strong understanding of fertility journeys and postnatal anxiety/depression, having experienced these firsthand myself. A passion of mine is bringing awareness to these topics which are often kept secrets.

Becoming a doula is my way to support women and their families during this transition to parenthood, to educate and empower parents – something I am so passionate about.

I’m your girl, let me support you.

My name is Jessica Robertson, and I am an emerging doula who is training at the Doula Training Academy. If you would like more information about my doula services, please contact me:
