Hello and welcome!
My name is Nadine Lloyd and I’m the owner of The Sweetest of Things.
I’m located in Calderwood, on the South Coast of New South Wales. I live here with my husband and 2 beautiful kids, Avery (5) and Oakley (2).
Ever since I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to work within the birth space, I wanted to be a midwife. However, since I experienced a pretty traumatic birth with both of my children and had some negative experiences with midwife’s, I researched some more into what other options were out there to assist women with having positive birth experiences, and the first thing to pop up was Doula.
I did what felt like hours of research about Doulas, and in the end, I knew deep down this is what I wanted to do, so I quit my mediocre job and there begun my training with Doula Training Academy.
I’ve had my head down studying ever since, and with each module I got to and completed my passion has grown more and more! I’m certain this is what I should be doing.
My end goal is to support, guide and educate women and support people into having the most positive birth experience possible. No matter which way you choose to birth, I will be there!
