My name is Teghan Gregg, and I am an emerging doula training at the Doula Training Academy.
Along with this qualification I am also a Registered Division 1 nurse with over 10 years’ experience in caring for people within the healthcare system. However, my biggest achievement is the ongoing growth I have with raising my three children. I have always had a love for birth, babies and the power of a village but it wasn’t until I had my own children that I felt the importance of stepping into this role.
I love coffee, reading, deep connections, reiki, women’s circles, water, the ocean, margaritas, camping, good food, soul-full chats, a great movie, hiking, adventures, podcasts, creating, wide open spaces.
Over the years I have found myself immersed in varies courses, healing modalities and personal development. My love for the mind body connection has allowed me to step into a wide range of practices that have helped me heal, learn and continue to grow as a woman a mother and a Birthworker.
It is important to me that you know I do not claim to have all of the answers, I do not know everything there is to know about birth. However, I have the tools and experience to stand beside you as we find the answers together ensuring that your journey is your own.
I hope to walk beside you as you not only birth your baby but also birth a new version of yourself.
My background in nursing, birthing my own three children and being supported by an incredible village gives me the understanding of the importance of having an advocate.
I feel like having a doula by your side is a wonderful rite of passage for you as a woman and mother to be held, nurtured and cared for.
